The name of storyline came from Tama/Alan’s car, an old Lincoln Mercury (I think?) in which we had many adventures, what with it being the first car anyone in my circle of friends had to themselves. (In contrast, I got a car this past November.)

It’s one of those things where I have a distinct set of experiences that no one else has ever really even tried to capture. I have a whole thing about stories about going to conventions. I did finally go through with finishing the Kurumi arc as planned, apart from having originally planned to do it all in 4-koma format. There wasn’t any head injuries or insanity or anything like that, but creating/discovering Kurumi was a turning point for me, and, not to put too fine a point on it, let me start to somewhat undo a couple decades of repressing emotions.
