Another entry in the “things that actually happened” category, Jon/Calico got a call to come in from a job he’d applied for but never actually gotten.
These were pretty closely based on Alan/Tama’s actual dogs, which were cute and friendly, but also had a way of destroying things, including a remote control and a hat.
So the idea was that Felicia (the girl from the Love Letter chapter) was holding a party before she moved away to college and Kurumi-Kitty ended up going rather than being sensible and turning it down.
I seem to have just kind of decided to stop this storyline. It was kind of a weird turning point because I was just getting really burned out with the comic, and started doing whatever I was feeling like, which often wasn’t much.
Bonus Stuff
I got out of retail and found working as a security guard (often in a mostly-empty building) much more to my liking. I can’t imagine going back.
I’ve started to drink coffee sometimes when I badly need caffeine to prop me up, but I put a ton of sugar in it to dull the taste of, you know, the coffee. I gave alcohol a chance and found out that I was alcohol intolerant. And no fucking way I’m trying smoking.
