As I said Jenny/Sunny has mellowed out a bit over the years (and also become a geologist and gotten married, to another geologist from New Zealand), but it still one of the most amazingly upbeat and positive people I’ve ever known.
“S.U.M.A.” was a thing Ken came up with, short for “Super Ultra Miracle Atomic.” It was kind of a general superlative for things that were really amazing.
So, this is probably the most embarrassing Neko Machi storyline, where Kitty gets hit on the head and takes on the persona of Kurumi. I think I actually came up with this before Nanaka 6/17.
I’m not a very physical person, but I did get big into playing Dance Dance Revolution for a bit. I even got to where I was running a DDR emulator program on a computer with a PlayStation DDR pad hooked up through a parallel port thing I had to order from Hong Kong, and downloading fan-made stepfiles for the emulator program.
My mom really did have a T-shirt that said “Women’s Sewing Circle and Terrorist Society,” though that was before, you know, 9/11.
