Romance has always been an uncomfortable topic for me, for a lot of reasons that I’m not comfortable enough to really talk about here. But I did a chapter about it anyway.

I remember I was once in an IRC channel with some people who were familiar with Neko Machi, and someone linked to this comic and said, “This is Miami.” I did actually once get knocked over by a very slow-moving car at an intersection once. I was okay, and the driver was probably more terrified of being sued than anything.

So… Long story short, purely by coincidence this chapter wound up going up right when I was breaking up with my girlfriend of the time.

Man, I forgot how angsty this comic got sometimes.
