This chapter was a flirtation in doing the comic five days a week, which I quickly stopped. It had a much more continuous story than usual, and it was generally meant to capture the feel of a balmy summer evening near the end of a year of high school












The “ninja bus driver” was one of those weird in-jokes we came up with while bullshitting and cracking jokes. This chapter has a high proportion of that kind of humor.

Michael/Snowball wasn’t as consistently laugh-out-loud funny as Mike F./Michelle, but he definitely had his moments.

And here we have the proper debut of Michelle. Mike was also a big fan of Kids in the Hall, hence the reference to the sketch “The Saddest People.”

Mike and Suichi had a basically unlimited appetite for playing fighting games. Seriously.

Mike’s humor mixed with Suichi getting loopy from sleep deprivation was kind of amazing.

Yeah, he was definitely a Megatokyo fanboy.
