I sat and thought for quite a while trying to figure out what type of sound to use for a cat’s act of vomiting. TT3TT I don’t think words can properly express it.

Oh man, i WISH my cat was like that..
no,.. mine goes somewhere remote so I can’t possibly find him, but close enough that I can hear his horking.. hork, hork, hork, hork.. then i try to race over and get him into the kitchen in time.. or grab a paper towel..
Living with a bossy cat that has a sensitive stomach made those noises quite common. It starts with a “herk herk herk” like a busted air pump, and the finale is more of a muffled cough and the flow of the… um .. contents. She’d constantly lick her lips before the fact and have the courtesy to get down to the floor for the most part, while I’d haul her to the toilet. linoleum floor or a sink.
Hmm, there’s the agreeable “hork” or “herk” before the action, but what do you think the sound of the “flow of contents” is?
What a weird thing to ask. *lol*

My own cat, Nino, likes to hide and cover his puke. So like, on the very day I decide to go around barefoot, I’ll not notice his little landmine half covered by a dishrag (that he dragged off the counter). TT^TT It’s a conspiracy, I think.
It sounds like one of those old trick questions. “What is the sound of one cat puking?”
My cat’s favorite place to do it is under the bed or the couch. She’d go “Hruk… hruk… hruk… hruk, hruk, hruk hruk hruk *cough* *cough* *splurch*.” Then she’ll walk away like nothing happened, and I’ll be standing there with the towels and carpet cleaner asking why she can’t do that in her litterbox.
I’d say the final sound is *coughsplattterhack*

I think the sound of the flow of contents is NO KITTY WHY!!!
I don’t think it comes with a sound, but it is ALWAYS in the carpet. Never fails.
No more outside fun grass eating time for little Kumo. Or my cat.
I like how the comic about a cat throwing up gets more comments than most any other.

Tht is because this might be the most relatable to your audience. If your cat hasn’t hauked a gunky, then it isn’t a cat.
